Drag Racing Drone
Drones are finding their way from the war front to the drag racing front. High Tech Corvette recently tested out their own unmanned aerial vehicle at the drag strip while LMR was testing their dragster.
I'd call this a success. The major downside to the UAV mounted videocamera is that it's attached to a really tiny helicopter so it sounds like an entire hive of bees is holding the camera up (that would be way cooler, btw, like Radagast the Brown as a videographer). Noisiness aside, the aerial view is pretty awesome, it would make for a great finish line shot.
I can't wait to see these cameras used in desert races where the dust obscures most of the ground-level video.
