The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air spring kit takes the immense 5,000-lb. air springs found in the standard LoadLifter 5000 air spring kit and adds an internal jounce bumper to prevent your suspension from bottoming out even under the heaviest loads.
Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air spring kits add 5,000 lbs of extra leveling capacity to ensure that even under the heaviest load, your truck will be level and safe to drive. Towing extremely heavy loads can cause even 1-ton trucks to sag or squat in the rear which pushes the front end up, reducing the truck's control, visibility and safety. Adding an Air Lift LoadLifter Ultimate air spring kit will allow you to add 5,000 lbs of extra weight to the rear end without sagging.
Air Lift's Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate air bag kit uses an internal jounce bumper or bump stop that progressively gives more support to accommodate more weight on the bumper.
- At stock height, the Loadlifter 5000 kit's jounce bumper does not affect your truck's ride.
- When under a medium load, the jounce bumper provides extra support in addition to the air spring to keep the truck stable and level.
- Under the heaviest of loads, the jounce bumper becomes very firm and prevents the truck from bottoming out, keeping the ride from becoming overly stiff and protecting suspension components.
