Using the knowledge gained from winning more off-road races than any other major shock manufacturer, Bilstein introduces the 5150 Series. The first production monotube high gas pressure, fixed CrossFlow reservoir shock absorber designed specifically for lifted and custom applications.

Below is a chart for the 5150 Crossflow Series that are sold by size, not application. Due to the variances of different modifications to a vehicle, or lift-suspension kits, it is your responsability to confirm that the shocks you purchase are dimensionally correct.

Note: Each shock has a 5/8 hourglass bushing at each end. All the shocks have an attached reservoir and a shaft diameter of 14 mm.

Bilstein has discontinued the 5150 series of offroad race shocks. For custom applications, please use the Bilstein 5125 offroad shocks or Bilstein 5165 remote reservoir offroad shocks.

5150 Adaptors

The 5150 shock comes with a loop at each end preinstalled. But if you need a different type mount at one of the shock, Bilstein makes 3 adaptor mounts (you change off a loop end and then screw or press in the adaptor for a tight secure fit.). #192228 - This adaptor is for a threaded end. If you need to add a stud at one end of the shock, the 1922228 is what you want, this screws on. The #411338 adaptor is for a crossbar ("feet") mounting, you press this into the shock after taking. If you need to add a crossbar at one end of the shock, this adaptor has 2 bolt holes that are spaced 3-inches apart center to center. The #411337 is an adaptor for a crossbar ("feet") mounting you press in. If you need to add a crossbar at one end of the shock, this adaptor has 2 bolt holes that are spaced 2 1/2 -inches center to center apart. If you want a new boot for a 5150, order RS1937. (the boot is only available in RED).
