Belltech Product Guide

Belltech Suspension

Belltech covers two very different truck suspension goals: lowered street handling and leveled or lifted truck control. Choose the vehicle and target ride height first, then select the shock, strut, spring or complete kit built for that configuration.

Where this product fits

Lowered street trucks

Street Performance shocks and struts are matched to lowered or OE-height applications listed by Belltech.

Budget lowering control

Nitro Drop 2 shocks provide application-specific damping for supported lowered trucks and SUVs.

Leveled and lifted trucks

Trail Performance shocks and struts cover listed truck applications with increased ride height.

Do not mix a shock for a lowered application with a lifted setup, or assume that the same advertised drop applies to every cab, drivetrain and suspension package. Shock length, travel, spring rate and suspension geometry must work together.

Complete Belltech kits are application-specific and their contents vary. Read the full fitment notes for excluded factory packages, required wheel clearances and whether the kit uses spindles, springs, shackles, hangers, flip components, shocks or struts.

Choose the right product line

Good reasons to consider it

  • Pick lowered, stock-height, leveled or lifted before choosing a line
  • Confirm cab, bed, drivetrain and factory suspension package
  • Use a complete kit when the application requires matched geometry parts
  • Align the vehicle and check clearance after any ride-height change

Confirm before ordering

  • Exact target front and rear ride height
  • Factory adaptive, electronic or load-leveling suspension
  • Wheel, tire, brake and control-arm clearance
  • All exclusions and required components in the Belltech listing

Frequently asked questions

Are Belltech shocks only for lowered trucks?

No. Belltech also offers OE-height and Trail Performance applications for supported leveled or lifted trucks.

Can I use Nitro Drop 2 shocks at stock height?

Only when the exact application lists that configuration. Nitro Drop 2 is commonly used with lowered setups, so verify the stated ride-height range.

What is the difference between Street Performance and Trail Performance?

Street Performance focuses on listed street, OE-height and lowered applications. Trail Performance is aimed at listed leveled and lifted truck configurations.

Does a complete lowering kit contain the same parts for every truck?

No. Kit contents vary by suspension design and can include different combinations of springs, spindles, shackles, hangers, flip hardware, shocks and struts.

Do I need an alignment after changing ride height?

Yes in most cases. Confirm alignment specifications, clearance and any required sensor calibration after installation.

Confirm the exact application

Use the Year, Make, Model selector in the site header when the vehicle or chassis is supported. Read every application note before ordering. If the configuration is unclear, use the technical support form with the vehicle or coach details and photos of the existing suspension.
