The SuperSteer® SS218 front sway bar is heat treated, offering a larger and stronger upgrade to the OE front sway bar. When heat is applied during manufacturing, the steel hardens and becomes stronger. For this 2 1/8" heat treated sway bar, you gain ~30% increase in stability, since Ford is heat treating the front OE sway bar on the V8 chassis. The sway bar will help eliminate sway and body roll in your RV.
This heat treated front sway bar kit also includes upgraded heavy duty endlinks. The kit comes with polyurethane bushings and all the hardware needed for installation.
This part is designed to be an upgraded replacement to the factory 2" front sway bar. Each kit comes complete with heavy-gauge mounting hardware, easy-to-follow instructions, and the bushing lubricant.
Note: SuperSteer does not recommend this upgrade on the 16k and 18k GVWR chassis.
