Beaver Koni RV Shocks
Beaver motorhomes require chassis-specific KONI selection. Magnum eight-airbag, Gillig, and Roadmaster RR8S applications use different identifiers, so the coach name alone is not enough to choose a front or rear replacement.
Magnum eight-airbag applications
The Beaver Magnum eight-airbag chassis entries identify FSD front shock 8805 1004SP1 and rear shock 8805 1005SP1. Preserve the SP1 suffix when checking these parts. A number that shares the same main digits but omits that suffix should not automatically be treated as the same application.
Gillig front adjustable option
The Beaver Gillig chassis entry identifies front adjustable shock 90 2164SP1. That is a different product type and identifier from the Magnum FSD entries. This Gillig information establishes a front option; it does not establish a matching rear part or authorize using the front shock at both ends.
Roadmaster RR8S applications
For the Beaver Roadmaster RR8S eight-airbag chassis, the front FSD identifier is 8805 1004 and the rear is 8805 1005. These entries omit the SP1 suffix used for the Magnum applications. Keep the chassis designation attached to each number rather than collapsing both eight-airbag groups into one purchase list.
Choose the technology by application
KONI RV families include FSD Gold, Adjustable Red, and EVO 99 Adjustable, but not every family is offered for every Beaver chassis. FSD operates without manual damping adjustment, whereas adjustable designs require their own setting procedure. Confirm chassis and model-year coverage before deciding that a preferred technology is available for the coach.
